Thank you so much, Rodney!
I am so grateful that you care enough about Janet and her music to take her into new territory with her music.
I am so excited, actually beyond it, for this new album!
I just have two requests: deep lyrics & vocals. We want them. BAD.
I didn’t think you could top “Feedback”, and I’m not saying this one does, but on this path you could top the entire Discipline album.
Im a janet fan. The #1 fan. Im not liking the song at all. Its not a bad song and it shouldnt be released as a single. We need some good janet music, something sexy, slow, and Janet. That Heartbreak Love aint my Janet or the Janet that I know. She should release more than one single if Heartbreak Love is a single. Please put her on top again with something more serious. I love Janet!!!!
Great Jam a different direction for Janet in which she needs..Ive been a fan of hers since the 80’s and with songs like this make me wanting more. Great pairing with Janed and Pit…release this song ASAP I feel a top 40 hit here….Thanks cant wait for here album
More Fire from the Caribbean!!! That’s where Janet needs to take her sound on this album. Start lookin’ for the underground cats wit d heavy sounds n not just the toppa-tops.. a nice mix of both and she will ‘SELL OFF’ as we say in d West Indies.
Blessings flow to the Darkchild
Rodney is an extraordinary producer, limitless creativity. His craft and artistry significantly impacts the sound of music. Janet is a prolific artist. Watching her evolve delights and amaze me. I listen to the track several times, I can appreciate it but it doesnt appeal to me as a “JANET” track. Definitely not what I would look forward to on her new project. Congratulations on “Make Me”.
Wow, I just heard Heartbeatlove and it’s so fresh and different. I’m such a fan of Janet’s and I love the direction she is taking with her upcoming CD as far as the dance tracks are concerned. I love anything she does but dancing is where she shines and the song made me get up and dance in my office. I can’t wait to see what else her and Rodney have created. Jennifer Miller
Have you guys heard the original leaked version? Youtube it “Not My Love”. I think her vocals were filtered to kinda “disguise” her voice…but that version I thought was a hotter. I wonder what the story behind the first one? Tell me what ya think?
Yo this song is hot like fire can’t wait for the new joint. Please don’t forget about them ballets. I would to see janet take it back to the old school that real heart felt R&B.
I love it as well!!!!,but her vocals are overpowered by Pit’s rhymes while agreeing with Janetfiend below! This should be a No.#1 hit for nothing on the radio sounds like it! I hope you guys are also exploring why she has been banned from many radio formats! Even the 40 yr. old middle aged Urban Dj’s on the morning/evening talk shows won’t play her music! Looking forward to even more funked up jams from you & Janet! Good job!!
